It’s cold at work. I try to wash my hands as often as possible just to keep warm. The best part of eating lunch is no longer the food but to do the dishes afterwards. We should have mandatory tea-times at least twice a day when the outdoor temperature drops below -5 degrees Celsius.
I had to work yesterday, and as if that wasn’t enough I had to do everything I did on Monday all over again. It was like having two Mondays in one week. Imagine having Saturday then Monday then Monday again. I was in such a bad mood that when the Vietnamese girl came to ask why no-one was at work I simply told her that she could have stayed at home all day had she known that it was Sunday. I felt a bit bad for that…
We got a new girl at work. She’s an exchange student from China named Xin. I found it terribly difficult to pronounce (try to say the word “sin” with an x) and almost asked her if she didn’t have an English name. Then I realized how rude that would have sounded. Like: what? your English teacher never gave you the fake name [aida] just so you could hang out with those not familiar with the Swedish pronunciation??
I called the health clinic today and realized that January will be filled with fun stuff like pulling out my wisdom teeth and having to explain to a doctor why my sugar values are so high (it’s called Christmas you know… No diabetic should have to visit the doctor until the end of March as the sneaky physicians can see how you’ve behaved three months back in time)
Well this was a fun post…
I’m coming out of my Christmas hangover slowly but steadily having watched two documentaries that helped. The one today was on Annie Leibovitz and yesterday I had the pleasure of getting to know the life of a 98 year old Danish lady who claimed she had never been unhappy in her entire life. Things get put into perspective.

Men januari har en rolig grej iallafall… nämligen ett restaurangbesök med flickorna… eller? T.ex restaurang Juuri (låter ju som om den sku vara liiiite nyttig iallafall
) Lördagen den 24e eller den 31?
